Exactly my point, warm garage and charging would make me believe the 12v battery is happy. And snowstorm not so much.
EDIT: If you want to make it happy in a snow storm AND a warm garage, put on an AGM trickle charger all the time it's not in use.

12v lead acid batteries are HAPPIEST and live longer when they are at 100% charge is my point.

I see this message after 2 weeks and sitting on a battery maintainer, I turn the truck on and look at 12v soc and it’s at 97 percent.. I think in my case it’s a timed trigger as it’ll go away for another 2 weeks after turning the truck “on” .

Interesting.

So the 97% is that what the truck reads, or your external equipment?

Some weird programming went on in the Lightning systems it seems to me, so I guess that shouldn't surprise me.

It’s directly from a scan tool… so it’s like it knows it’s charged but still falls back to that state over time.

Yes, it seems likely that the SOC collected by the Ford BMS system may have a glitch.

However, just to rule it out, you have your maintainer connected DOWNSTREAM of the BMS sensor on the negative terminal correct?

If it were directly to the battery neg terminal, then the BMS would not know the true state of the battery.

There have been some BMS issues as well.

I haven't left my truck unused on the maintainer for more than 3 days or so, so I haven't seen that warning, maybe I would if I left it longer.

The only time I have seen it was before I got the maintainer. And one time when I had the truck on in accessory mode by mistake and had the lights on.

Correct the current sensor is inline with the maintainer.
