Agreed! We can't tell what is limiting charging or even the charge rate. Many people can't see or even know how to see the rate on the charge station itself. We have had a really bad experience with slow charging in Missouri along I-170. The Electrify America in Boonvill rated at 350KW only charges at about 64kW consistently. There are no other 150kW+ chargers between St. Lous and Kansas City. When you tow, we need 150kW charging to make it reasonable and slow/broken charging is killing us. I'll post more in the trip section.
I’ve charged my Mach-E twice at Booneville. Both times it started out at 168KW before settling in at about 140.
I went from 28 to 86% in less than 30 minutes. It tapered to about 50KW when it hit 80%.

I’ve charged my Mach-E twice at Booneville. Both times it started out at 168KW before settling in at about 140.
I went from 28 to 86% in less than 30 minutes. It tapered to about 50KW when it hit 80%.
Today we charged there again. It started at 170W on a 71% charge But, after about 10 minutes, it went down to 36kW. We unplugged and plugged again. It went up to about 120kW, but started to fall again quickly. It was only 75F degrees outside.

We don't have the tow package. I wonder if anyone has noticed this correlation. It seems there is some limit with the Lightning.

I should have noted the temps in my original comment. First time, it was mid 80s, second time low 90s.

If you started at 71% and it didn’t drop for 10 minutes, you should have been at (or very close to) the 80% cliff by then?

Sorry. The first time it started at 60% and ended at 71% after 22 minutes.

That’s horribly slow. Going from 20 to 80 would take 2 hours at that rate.
If I ever get a truck, it will be interesting to compare charging experiences between it and myMach-E at common charging locations.
