Did a test charge at EA with the blue oval network and it was completely seamless plug and play charging. No difference at all compared to how it was with my Tesla.
That was my experience on a road trip this weekend. Plug & Charge was rock-solid at every stop. Hopefully they'll introduce a way to let you use the EA+ subscription with it.Did a test charge at EA with the blue oval network and it was completely seamless plug and play charging. My dealer quoted over $1300 per side for the stock Lightning running boards! Hopefully that was for the power deploy ones or a mistake. It’s a great color choice. You’ll love it man. I haven’t yet on the running boards, but I’m going back to get a tonneau cover and will inquire on those. My wife wants them for sure.
That came out awesome!I picked up my Lightning early July. Forced myself to drive it stock for a month in an attempt to appreciate it as it came. I really liked it but didn’t LOVE it. When I walked away from it I wouldn’t turn around to look. Now I love it. The steps had to go (amp steps ordered) and the leveling kit, raptor wheels and tires made all the difference. I don’t feel like I’m driving a 2wd grandpa truck anymore.

Well, it's definitely down to your personal choice. Sometimes I feel like it's an upgrade, sometimes a downgrade. The ICE F-150 looks better (to me), the ICE Lariat screen and buttons are better, the available purchase packages and value for money are better on the ICE too. But for me, my want to go electric and me being ok as an early adopter won over those objections. Still, I just got back from a 680 mile round-trip camping vacation with my 2 little kids and definitely felt the charging pain a little - so much more planning and thinking of where and when to charge, and try to combine with good stops for food and breaks. Suburban driving I don't have any of that pain, of course.I currently have an identical lariat powerboost while I'm waiting on my Lightning. I'm torn as I really like my powerboost. Great mileage for what it is. I don't tow though and main case use is suburban driving.
How are you liking the Lightning compared to it?
