Here is my Pro. Installed the OEM running boards, got the door handles and mirrors painted, installed a soft rolling tonneau cover and a bed separator. Installed fitcamx front and rear dashcam.

Looking great! Pro in GC looks so good without light bar.
what’s your thoughts on if the “grill” was color matched?

I kind of like the grill the way it is. I am thinking about adding the lighted ford emblem instead of making changes to the grill.

I picked up my Lightning early July. Forced myself to drive it stock for a month in an attempt to appreciate it as it came. I really liked it but didn’t LOVE it. When I walked away from it I wouldn’t turn around to look. Now I love it. The steps had to go (amp steps ordered) and the leveling kit, raptor wheels and tires made all the difference. I don’t feel like I’m driving a 2wd grandpa truck anymore.

Agree with others. That is awesome. What tint did you do on the light bar? looking at the options with Luxe Auto and planning on going darkest I could find on the light bar and light on the headlights and tail lights.

If you have not already, I installed the Black Oval kit on the front of mine. The rear emblem does not fit on the Platinum, but the front looks great.

Your truck looks great! I also ordered a Pro in the carbonized gray. How much did it cost to paint your mirrors and handles? Did they simply coat the textured plastic with paint? Are they still a bit textured or have they been smoothed out?

was this a difficult swap? I like this better than the light up emblem. Does this emblem come with a new camera in it or is that swapped from the old emblem?

The entire swap took me about 30-45 minutes start to finish. I did not swap the tailgate as it does not fit the Lariat/Platinum. You do have to remove the front grill insert from the inside of the frunk lid. There are 6 or so grommets that have to be popped out. I used a tool I had purchased from amazon.

I used the metal tool with no issues at all, but being careful not to scratch the plastic. Then there are a several bolts to remove. I would recommend have a table nearby to set it on as you try to remove the wires to swap the camera out.

The camera does not come with the kit, but the camera is swapped out fairly easily.

I didn't know a dedicated CGM thread existed. This is a beautiful color on a beautiful truck! These are some awesome pics of your trucks, thanks for sharing. I can't wait for mine to arrive early next year!

Hi all,
I picked up my Lariat standard range about a week and a half ago from a dealership here in San Diego. I paid 2022 MSRP plus a small markup (definitely not egregious) but my truck came with the heated steering wheel so I consider it a fair trade.
It came with all weather mats and the Ford spray-in bedliner (pretty sure it's Rhino liner).

I really really love this truck.

It's not my first Ford but it's my first new Ford.

I also have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic 4x4/5.7 but the trade-in credit offered would've put me $12k negative, so I'm gonna throw it up on Turo and just make payments on it using Turo revenue. I figure it'll be good to have an ICE truck in case I need to haul or tow something a long distance.

I want to pick up a tonneau cover but I don't really like the price of the one everyone recommends (the one that's Ford sold and also rebranded as Revolver) because it has issues with Felt failing.

What soft rolling cover did you end up getting? Also, happen to have the Ford PN for those running boards? Looking to do the same with my truck.

FYI, I purchased that cover and was one of early reporters of the problem. Ford replaced the felt pieces with ones that have a different adhesive at no charge and so far so good. Otherwise, I really like the cover. And I’m Carbonized Grey, too.😬

I got this rolling cover

I don't have the part number for the running boards but I heard they are expensive to purchase from ford. I would advise you to do the same thing I did and buy it from an owner that is switching to power deploy running boards.
