Tonight I was playing around with Excel to make a charge time and cost calculator. I wanted to share it, should others find it useful.

There's probably a cool app or website to do this. Feel free to edit it and make it work for you such as customizing based on your battery size, cost per kW, etc. Also, our tax rate is 13% so you'll have to change that.

I'll take a look at yours when I get onto the right computer. I have one that I have used since day 1 that keeps more data than the Charge History in the Ford App. Note that I moved it over to a Google Sheet so I can access it from my phone - very handy when not charging at home!

Here is the summary lines at the top (we'll see if the formatting stays at least sort of useful when pasted into the forum):

Doesn’t look like you’re accounting for charger losses. So you are slightly underestimating costs and charge time. Charge kWh and time will go up about 8 to 10% due to those losses. I.e, not all the energy makes it into the battery.

In my spreadsheet I enter actual charger kWh (wall kWh). This is what cost is based on and it accounts for charger losses.

You could increase cost and time by 8-10% for a better estimate.
