Your 2023 Ford F-150 may have a Battery Monitor Sensor (BMS) that underreports 12V battery capacity, possibly preventing successful over-the-air software updates. It is really important to get this recall fixed and our team can do this for you at no charge. We have limited availability over the next few weeks, when are you available for an appointment?

I haven't had any issues getting updates but I guess it won't hurt.

Yes, it's very important, much goes wrong when the truck doesn't know the correct 12v SOC, get it fixed.

Being in a mild climate helps with your 12v being more stable even if it's not getting the correct charging so far, but at some point it's going to bite you arse.

Yeah, my CSP for this had already expired (I bought it used and it would have been on the lot during expiration date) - I contacted the EV team to cover but was denied, so bought it out-of-pocket.

I actually received a confirmation e-mail so now I am a little confused but I will push that they take care of both the BMS and Front parking sensors. My front right parking sensor has not worked since I bought the truck.

recall Campaign: FORD 24B56 - CSP: Inoperative Front Parking Sensors

I had the 24B56 in Jan 2025 along with a front hatch update (although I had no issues) 24P24.

I did not need my nuts tightened per 24S76 due to the date they were manufactured - it was only for ones built between November 5, 2023, and February 13, 2024, mine was earlier than that.

Were you out of warranty too? Seems odd you had to pay out of pocket in either case. 🤷‍♂️

According to the thread: CSP-23B70, it expired in January '25. This is what I was referring to. FYI - my truck is still under warranty.

I reread this thread and the OP stated "recall", so maybe this wasn't the item/fix to which I was replying to? The OP didn't state what number but some other replies chimed in with others.

Regardless, I show no recalls or CSP active for my truck.
