Here’s a question. I ordered my XLT a few weeks ago. All pricing shown is 2023. I showed them the email stating I’m eligible to get 2022 pricing. My salesman said Ford will send me a coupon to bring the price down from the 2023 pricing to 2022 pricing when we do the final paperwork. Has anyone heard this? I’m going to call Ford to see if I can get an answer too. I’ve read forum posts and watched YouTube videos and have not seen or heard this.

The exact wording was in the email from Ford. I'll see if I can dig it up from my work email in a bit.

My order agreement with the dealer show 7000 rebate and was deducted from the 2023 MSRP which bring the price down to 2022 MSRP. No mention of Ford’s coupon.

realized your from NJ also. I went with Fullerton ford for my Mach e and was seamless so I’m confident they will handle the lightning order properly. NJ also have rebate 2-4K

Wow, thank you. I’m going to call Ford before I approach my dealer. So I have two possible ways to ensure they give me 2022 pricing. You’re way (mentioning Fullerton) and whatever Ford tells me.
Also, thank you about the state rebate. I’ve been on the states site and couldn’t find what the rebate would be. Whereas it used to be visible. I thought maybe they rescinded the rebates.

Link to the nj rebate. I think since the price increase the most we can get in nj rebate is 2k. Below is pic of the order 2k nj rebate + 7k for ford 2022 price rebate (unfortunate IMO because it would saved me 2k if it wasn’t rebate) total 9k.

Just so I'm clear, this is for people who were invited to order a 2022 and Ford wasn't able to produce enough to fulfill all of those orders and they got bumped to 2023, right? This doesn't apply to people like me who weren't invited to order after the 2023 details and pricing increase was posted, correct?

I'm still pretty frustrated that I had my reservation processed with about 3 minutes of them opening them up after the reveal and I still didn't get a 2022 invite even though I know I was in that very first group of people comfortably. I would have ordered a Lariat with the extended battery and been under $80k but now I can't do that so I ended up "having" to give Ford less money and get less options so we both lost.

If I misunderstand who this is for and it actually applies to me it would lower my base price and I could get the truck I wanted (minus the color that no longer exists which is a small deal compared to the difference in range) with the options I wanted before the price increase and still stay under the $80k cap.

From my understanding is. Two ways, if you already placed an order and is pushed to 2023 and if you’re invited to order but choose to extend the invitation due to trim being “sold out” will get a rebate to match the price of 2022. All new orders and reservation holders with no invitation to order prior to the 2023 increase will be subject to the new pricing.

That's what I assumed as well, unfortunately for me. There were still some areas on the Ford site that showed the lower price when I placed my order but I knew what I was getting into so figured it wouldn't apply to me. Still holding out hope that something will happen before the truck is built that allows me to add the larger pack and still qualify for the Federal tax credit. Hope is dwindling with each passing day though.

It's worth pointing out that even if it did apply to you it still wouldn't put you under the $80K MSRP cap because it doesn't reduce the MSRP but is instead lowers the price via a "coupon" (discount). So your MSRP will still exceed the cap even though you end up paying less.

I like the brake Regen as is now, it’s feels natural BUT Ford should have an Low/High option. I also didn’t mind the previous version, it just took some time getting used to it.
