Dealer service recommendations Durham NC

I will be needing my 10k service soon and for efficiency like to get my 2 csp's taken care of, bedliner and cover done all at the same time. Anyone have a dealer in the Durham, NC area they would recommend. When I first found out I had a CSP I reached out to the dealer I bought the truck from and one close by in Hillsborough and neither got back in touch. I took that as an indicator of them not wanting to deal with an EV.

I would not say that. Many dealers just have poor customer communication skills. I have seen that with Volvo, Ford, Subaru, Chevrolet and Honda dealer service departments. Drives me nuts.

Oh, and if you are dealing with a fire truck dealership service department on a million dollar rig - same BS.

Capital Ford in Raleigh has been pretty good. University in Durham is also owned by Capital but I don’t think that means much. They all seem to be run independently. I’ve talked to others in the area that had good luck at Crossroads in Apex and Leith in Wendell. The key is to be prepared and know more than the service advisor. If you’re going in for CSP or recall the search the forum and read the dealer bulletins so you can tell them exactly what you expect.

YMMV but Crossroads Apex says you need to exhibit an actual failed OTA install in order to qualify for the CSP 23B70. They canceled my appointment. Capitol didn’t have any such qualification.

FYI, my service advisor at Capital is Phillip Bouche. He’s done all the CSPs on at least one Lightning. Here is his contact info, you usually get the best response by text.
