Ahhhh yes I remember that bracket. It's been a while.
Thank you for your reply. I took the plunge this weekend and installed

1) Wiring harness in front bumper
2) Added Radar
3) Updates Forscan

After all this i still couldnt make the CCM module come up.
After struggling with Forscan for some time , i took a look at wire harness connecting bumper to car and seems like missing in that 😳.

Man it was so disappointing to know after doing everything else.
I used to think differently about all this, OEM all the way, but I've changed my opinion. You should totally go least path of resistance. Get 4 lever nut splices and snip the wires a few inches from the IPMA and run your own 4 wire harness out to the CCM at the bumper. You won't need to remove the bumper, just poke the wires through where they go and splice on the CCM pigtail. I could literally install it like this in 30min.

Yes, all you need is the CCM hooked up to the IPMA and the FORScan changes.

This work as I've explained it has been so proven by now it has zero chance of affecting anything related to warranty on a truck, if that's even a worry.

If you are good with splicing and running wire, do it this way and don't look back.
Hey @ZSC100 Good Morning, Heop you are doing well.

Man i took the plunge this weekend and did below listed things

1) Added RADAR to Front Bumper.
2) Replaced Bumper Harness with new one
3) DId the ForScan update.

This took around 5 hours for a novice like me ! At the end i was not able to see CCM module coming up in ForScan.

Did everything again but still no luck. At the end checked the wire harness connecting Front Bumper to CAR and found out that I dont have required wiring there :-(.

SO i see required wire on Driver Side, PassengerSide but not on Harness connecting FrontBumper to car.

After doing everything else its extremely disappointing to see. Can you please help me out here ? Sorry Im not very knowledgeable about wiring .

If you could let me know what im missing and how should i go about it.. It would very helpful.

Thank you

Man this sucks, but you should've checked this, you can check wire going both ways at the passenger side kick panel above the BCM. If I recall that connector (265?),, you can see the wires going in and out of the at connector. That tells you if you have the wires from the IMPA to the passenger kick panel, and then from the passenger kick panel to the front bumper main connector.

Now that you've done all the work of the front bumper harness, you need to comb back through this thread, prob in the first dozen pages and find where I posted the pins from digikey for the front bumper main harness. Order the appropriate wire colors and pins and install the wires in the front bumper connector, then go straight to your IMPA from there. Or if you can verify you have the wires to the IMPA from the passenger kick panel, go to there like I did originally.

Thank you for your reply buddy. Much apprecieated.
I will do the necessary groundwork now. But I'm a Software Architect with 0 Knowledge of how wiring works :-(.

Trying to understand few things here ..

I did verify wiring from both Driver and Passenger side before taking this one. Here are the pics..

Driver Side -

Passenger Side -

Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 1759767348693-vm

U can see Green/White, Brown/Blue, Gray, Gray/Blue wire in the pics above.

Front Bumper to Car connector -

From the PDF is seems we had to validate Driver and Passenger side wiring. I was not sure if we have to validate from Bumper to Car also.

Am i missing something here ? I do see the required wire in Driver and Passenger side but not on the front bumper to car wire harness.

Come on Naveen, wiring is just software logic in the physical world :) You got this.

Your exact situation is now identical to how mine was. You have installed the front bumper harness and CCM, verified the wiring exists from the IMPA to C265, now your only missing the segment from C265 to the front bumper main connector (C134). So, now what you need to do is order the wire and connectors.

You can see my post from "Apr 1, 2023" on page 5 which has the wire and contacts to order:
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...lert-to-2022-f-150-lightning-xlt.14870/page-5

ON page 6 see my post from "Apr 8, 2023" it has the wiring diagram and pictures of how I routed the wire through the firewall and how I connected it with WAGO splices at C265 in the passenger kick panel.

Your response is much appreciated buddy. I will study this one and see what i can do. Please do suggest alternative with minimum slicing involved maybe pigtail . I'm planning to find someone here in Louisville who can do this for me.

Essentially trying to understand if this one can be done by ordering a custom wiring harness with these 4 wires from somewhere do an plug and play connection rather than opening up the wiring harness and inserting required pins.

There is no economical alternative at this point.

If anyone is needing correct color wires, male pins, splice connectors, and harness tape I will sell the other 12' of my four wires, 6 pins, 4 connectors, and role of harness tape for $25 shipped (half the cost minus shipping).
Hi Jason,
Good Morning

Do you have a link of how and where these are ordered ? Trying to buy these ones

Good Morning ZSC100

I was trying to see from where to buy the Wires and other associated items for doing the modification. Seems like the Wiring companies' website is no longer active ..

https://4rcustomswire.com/products/20-gauge-txl-wire-6-striped-colors-each-25-foot-long

Can you suggest an alternate ?

Thanks

Thank you. I dropped them an email.

I saw your wonderful video about how to do modification for C134 .. Man its bloody good! Appreciate you putting time on this one.

Do we have anything similar for C265 work? It's kind of hard to reach under Passenger panel and wondering what's the best way to tackle that.

Thank you in advance.

Naveen

No, C265 is a bitch. It's not in a water hazard location so just make your own splice there.

I wouldn't even try to extract the pins out of the IMPA side, just identify the wires and snip them.
