Starting a new thread for those of us who installed Passive Entry after the fact. @ZSC100 @Jesse-Infotainment

Looks like this problem might eventually affect us all, so indeed let's start a new thread titled:
DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A Lightning - 2025 Firmware Fix

Whoever's is broken currently from the frunk update and can use FORScan to identify their current (the new broken) BCM firmware please start this thread and tag Jesse and I in the initial post.

And post this:

Likely all that needs to happen is that we need to get new BCM firmware files for an EG 312a and install them into our BCM. Should be that easy.

I can confirm that they messed the first 4 blocks in BCM. It took me 10 minutes yesterday to rewrite those values and everything is back to normal. These are the blocks:
726-18-01
726-24-01
726-27-01
726-28-01

Didn't @glicenji confirm that the four blocks noted above just need to be updated via FORScan? I didn't understand the fix to be a complete BCM firmware update.

FWIW, my dealer applied that BCM update for me and it didn't affect my passive entry installation so ?

just updated this today, as said by @glicenji , it was just updating those 4 lines. the only tricky part was on this line, the last digits started with a 01 now instead of 00 . I left those alone at 01
