Does anyone know if I can replace the front active dam with a fixed one

I am one of the unlucky people who hit a truck tire tread at highway speed, at night of course, and it broke both front air dam motors. Luckily the motors still activate but of course move nothing, and therefore there are no error codes. The air dam is gone. Do you think I should replace it with OEM parts (expensive), just drive it as is, or install some kind of fixed air dam? Thank you.

Air dam is really poorly designed. I removed mine, no error codes at all. I had a gas version too same thing. I didn’t feel mpg difference at all. It has 6 screws, easy to install it by yourself.

Thank you to everyone for your advice and answers. I will just drive my Lightning without an air dam. I do agree with taraafocp that it is a poor design to add so little to the range. And expensive to boot. I love my lightning but I am so disgruntled that the dealer did not disclose that the new lightning was not as good as my old lightning and that ford was going to discontinue the lightning. Oh well, I am stick with a truck that will lose value fast and that I now have an expensive amd possibly useless charging system in my home.
