One of my mystery sounds early on was the seat cooler... massive difference in cabin sound between med and high setting.

It's all about perspective. My last vehicle was a 2010 F150. The Lightning doesn't make any noise, I don't know what you guys are talking about.🤣

Actually, the noises I hear are the rattling of car seats behind me. If someone invented a car seat that didn't rattle I'd be in the market for three of them.🥴

I discovered a new rattle.....

A few weeks ago I folded the collapsible storage box under the rear passenger seats so I could load some cargo in the rear half of the cabin, afterward I left it folded up and over the past many weeks been hearing this rattle that I thought was a bag of cargo straps and miscellaneous stuff.

I moved all of that to the frunk, but the noises persisted, come to find out I didn't engage the lock to button down the box panels, they were rattling about with even a minor bump in the road. I restored the box walls and divider, engaged the lock, all was quiet on the next ride.

In the meantime, paying close attention to my trucks sounds, only thing I'm hearing are:
  • While in run mode R,N,D but not moving is the pedestrian sounder (muffled in cabin)

  • While in accessory mode Parked, non charging, faint electronic hum from the dash, maybe cooling fan on a device ????

  • While parked and charging, hum of circulator for battery temp management or other devices involved in charging the traction battery.
Not trying to minimize the sensitivity of the OP, but seriously the Lightning is overal whisper quiet compared to my old 2012 F250 in so many ways, these minor nuisances are tolerable to me, but YMMV.

I think being that it’s quiet makes these sustained high pitched sounds more annoying. I find myself having to play music every drive to mask it.

A new sound I discovered this week is a low pitched servo motor clunk in my shift knob when pushing the engagement button. I don't remember hearing it before.

May have narrowed it down to the ECU (ML3T-14H057-FACRev:01) or something around there on the left side of the driver footwell. It makes a 2500 Hz tone. Found other high tones, but not 2500 Hz when sticking my phone through the 12V door into the engine bay.
