How do you disable it and keep cruise and lane-keeping functionality? I just want one more second without the nanny. I'm often literally looking at the road when it goes off.
I just need normal cruise control and it works without all the other stuff disabled. I think even lane keep works, but I'd have to double-check. Take a peak in the settings on the truck. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll go through the settings. I found it while driving home after the purchase so it's not difficult to find.

When even the dog is complaining about you not watching the road, perhaps it's time to - you know - watch the road.

Plus there's numerous reason why having a dog in your lap while driving is a really bad idea, but I'm sure you know already.
Dog can't hang her head out the window without being on my lap ;)

Both 2 & 10 and dogs on laps aren’t good in modern vehicles with airbags in the steering wheel. 2&10, you have a good chance of breaking your thumbs, arms, or worse.
