I use the speed sign recognition. I don't have any issues with it "seeing " exit speed limits and slowing down, but it does see hwy signs and thinks those are speed signs. I drive on a two lane hwy called Indiana 45. When I drive by those signs that say Indiana 45, ACC thinks that is a speed limit sign and slows.
And that's why I must ask why you decided it's a useful feature and keep it on?

There is a rural downtown Speed trap where speed limit changes to 25 mph. It's at an intersection for SR 70. EVERY Time the car attempts to accelerate to 70 mph.

I don't think anyone uses speed sign recognition and decides, "I love the sudden speed changes!"

Turn it off and forget it ever existed. Lol
Yeah... That's exactly what I did but the point is if we are ever going to have full self driving, or have a feature that they want to charge a subscription and that I am willing to pay for, I expect it to work.

What I don't understand is, Bluecruise only works on "mapped" locations. What exactly are they "mapping"? You would think logging speed would be one of the things they map. The cameras are processing the steering, the sensors are adjusting for speed. What is in this mapping that prevents bluecruise from just working everywhere?

Do Tesla's read off ramp speeds signs? how does there FSD system do it?

Because rural hwy speed traps, you enter those it adjusts down. I never seen what flyct has. Probably because there is no hwy 70 around here.
