Excellent! Looks like production is hanging steady at just under 3,000 units per week. That's pretty good considerings a year ago it was a struggle to produce 1,000 units/week.
Thanks for the link. Great data.

They hope to reach 3K a week by the Fall/Winter of 2023, just before shut down, it's been running around 700-900+ a week.

I'd like to know how many and what percentage of the reservations resulted in a purchase and how many did not.

I have seen numbers floating around like that over half of the 200,000 reservations were cancelled after the price hikes.

Probably not something Ford will make public though.

Yup, we're not going to see a published number, but I'd venture a guess, look at total sales after the close of business 2023, now that order banks are open to the general public, I'd assume the majority of the 200,000 original reservationists would have seized the opportunity (or not) to place an order.

Speculating now, that sales over 2022 & 2023 might come to a value of 23,000 trucks, 11.5% take rate with 88.5% dropping out.

I'll revisit my speculation in January 2024

I had seen the number as being estimated at over 70% cancellations. I was one of the cancellations.

I really wanted an entry level Pro without a lot of bells and whistles, but couldn't find one. I was really disappointed.

Now I am waiting to see what the MSRP of a Silverado EV will be offered at my local dealer when the time comes. I could live with a $50k truck since the tax credit puts it into the low $40k's. I don't need a heavy-duty or long distance truck, just something to replace my 2001 Ranger and 2012 Nissan Leaf.

If that doesn't work out, I look for a used Lightning with low mileage.

But Ford only started shipping Lightning’s last June. I was expecting much more.
