Its funny how people rail against the CT for issues but then when reports come out about Lighting issues people resort to comments like yours. Why even go there? Nobody said anything about the CT.

It's called a joke. It was a lighthearted quip about another EV truck. Should I not have resorted to a joke about another EV truck with issues while working through the issues I have with my EV truck. Would it have been better if I said it's still better than a Rivian R1T?

I do feel bad for those having the chipping on the upper and lower grill, and I think it's a platinum issue level of painted parts.... but honestly I have been patiently waiting long enough for one you to get so pissed off that you sit there and peel the rest of that black paint and let us see the massive upper grill and lower trim all chromed out.

Definitely would be cylon/terminator vibe and peoples brake lights reflecting off the chrome at night all red like... Priceless.

But again. I am sorry you have to deal with this...

Fun fact: platinum is a relatively soft metal which is why it makes sense that Ford names it's most comfy vehicles "Platinum".

I better not hear anyone else call my truck soft though. It's tough...TOUGH!

Platinum is self repairing though. At the microscopic level, the metal platinum will rearrange the atoms to repair and fix deep gouges.
