I’ve pulled the logs in Xcode. It’s used 38%. This app should be using sub 2% or less given its on a background thread and I’ve not driven the truck.

I agree with others that you might need a larger sample size than a few hours. If your phone has used very little battery in total, then percentages are not all that relevant.
For what it’s worth, over the last 10 days FP has used 1% of my battery. I don’t have PAAK.

my suggestions is give it 24-48hrs in which you use your phone normally (a full phone battery cycle, essentially). If it’s still a high % then you have a problem.

Isn't that number, "28%" the percentage of what was used not the percentage of the entire battery?
So if your battery dropped 10% the app used 28% of that 10% drop
