Looks like Ford is still full throttle on making a Ranger sized EV pickup, amongst other upcoming EV vehicles. From the article:

Interesting. I'd like to see them create something like a Cobra mod for the Mustang Mach E that would compete with (and outrun) the Tesla Plaid.

This is exactly what we don't need. Build vehicles people will buy. We need adoption. Most people don't need their car or truck to go 0-60 in like one second. Make them practical, affordable, and dependable.

I'm not suggesting that they only build Cobras. Just that I would like to see one in the lineup. If you are not into performance, OK. I like it.

it's all in question as GM is lobbying to kill the battery plant. Ford is partnering with a chinese company that the pentagon as recently as January put on a black list. That and tariffs could kill the plant but who knows in this kooky world. I'm just glad I got my Lightning...AND.... that I love it! ...
