I have owned my new 2024 Flash for less than a month now and love it so far.

Question to the group: I typically never buy anything in the business office during purchase, however, this time I purchased the 4 year - 100,000 Extended warranty plus. Given the lack of components and an 8 year electronics warranty I am starting to have buyers remorse on this warranty purchase.

Thoughts ?

you can certainly cancel it and get your money back on it. I would check https://www.grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/ and see what their price is as compared to what you paid at your dealer. They are about $50 over cost or something like that. I’m willing g to bet you paid more than that.

If it's not a Ford Protect warranty, cancel it. Third party warranties are not good, especially since you can get an official Ford warranty for a reasonable price from a dealer such as Granger. If you did get a Ford Protect warranty, compare the price you paid to theirs. Cancel if you paid too much and buy from Granger.

First, I agree with cancelling what you bought. Rarely do you get a good deal in the finance office.

I don't think you will be able to buy a @Granger Ford warranty in Canada. I am confused about what you bought. You said 4, year, 100K (miles or km?). The standard warranty is three years so you only added a year? Or did you buy a 7-year which extends the factory warranty three years?

You also need to read what the standard warranty covers. It does not cover electronics for 8 years. It covers EV specific components. Other drive train components are covered for 5 years. Your Sync screen, and all those electronics are 3 years.
