FordPass message about Alexa and Premium connectivity

Did anyone else get this notification in their Ford App? I’m curious if this is advertising the same thing that already comes with the truck or if it’s going to extend the trial period longer?

My premium connectivity trial expires soon and I’d consider doing this if it would extend it (because it’s not really worth paying for on its own).

I think it's advertising to prompt us into adding to our subscription list, I had the premium connectivity for a while, then canceled it, but maybe couple times a year FordPass try's to trick me into re-upping, NO SALE Ford!

I believe this notification is discussing two different things. Alexa is being offered free for 3 years. That has been pretty standard and I'm not sure it even goes away after 3 years. In my Connected Services menu I have end dates/renewals for BlueCruise and Connected Navigation but Alexa and BlueOval Charge Network have no mention of going away or needing renewing (my 3 years is up in October). Oh and they want me to sign up for Premium Connectivity at $10/month.

Separately, as @TaxmanHog mentions, they want you to sign up for Premium Connectivity. The wording there is strange - I doubt that is being offered to you for 3 years free. Note it is not needed to use Alexa commands but would be for streaming.

In FordPass, click on "Connected Services >" and you will see that these are separate services and their cost, if any. If they are indeed giving Premium Connectivity for 3 years that is big change.
