Fordpass Rewards Points when did they Post to account

Here is a post I had previously made in another thread. If you remote activated your modems early, you might have a problem with your FordPass points.

Here's something I learned last week.

I took my 2021 F150 in for its second oil change. The first one was done free last year by the dealership. When I went to pick it up, they told me the price of the work. When I said I wanted to use my FordPass points, they said I didn't have any.

Long story short, after a conversation with a FordPass representative, I never received my 42,000 FordPass points because my modem was activated too early, with regards to my sale date. 8 days to be exact. I activated it when I test drove it, but couldn't pick it up right away because I was waiting for shipping damage to be fixed.

So, if the FordPass points are important to you, you might want to think twice about having your truck activated while still at the assembly plant.

Since everyone else has received the same 22K points I received I'm sure the email has a mistake and not worth a fight with this dealer already, however 3 days after delivery I did receive an email stating I'd get 42K points for my purchase.

that is a helpful post, but……… too late. This still should be overridden in their system. Just an entry somewhere for ford. Still purchased an 80k truck which nets 22k points.

getting it done right is another thing.

Whaaaaaaat? Gosh I get so few of the standard emails.
22k is the correct amount.

I chatted with FordPass yesterday and was told that I would get 42,000 points for the vehicle purchase 30 days after purchase, so a little less than 2 weeks from now.

Yes. Open Fordpass, then click on Account, then click on Help Got Questions, and you'll see options for Chat or Call.

so you got 22k points for blue oval. activate modem within 60 days, keep active for 6 months.

i called them today. 8/8 and got the 42,000 points, within 2 hours.

update: called today got 42k for purchase but not the 22k. Interesting that most seem to be getting the 22.

Update:

I called fordpass rewards tel # today. Within an hour 42k points - which is for purchase of new truck.

did not get the 22k points - which is for activating the blue oval network.
