Well. Thats my point. Mine works fine and I have enough OCD to get upset at those things
Just for your curiosity... Where you live, does the weather have drastic temperature swings? I go from -40F to 100F and can easily range from 15F to 60F in the same day.

During summer I have very little issue. Although the temp is off (in other cars I set it at 70 and it works great) In the lightning I have to set it at 65 to be comfortable. Not a big deal.

The problem with auto temp arises during spring and fall when we have those huge swings. If you don't experience those in your area, then I completely understand why some don't understand what some of us are experiencing.

Then in winter I have fogging issues. Not an issue until it gets to around -15F or colder. Auto does not send any flow to the windshield. In all other vehicles I have owned, including ICE f150's a small amount of air always went to the windshield. This creates a film of air that prevents your breath from hitting the freezing cold windshield. If you don't experience these extreme cold temps, then again, some won't understand what we are talking about.

If you do experience these extreme temps and temperature swings and still have no problem, then you are right, something is very strange that these things occur to some and not to others.

Yeah my biggest complaints with "Auto" climate control on this truck are that they aren't automatic.

- Inside of windshield fogs up often with Auto turned on, leading me to think the humidity sensor isn't doing its job or the programming just sucks. Auto should use the compressor as necessary to keep moisture out of the cabin.

- If I have three selections to pick from on the Auto button to control the aggressiveness of the system, then is it really automatic climate control?

- Temperature is all wacky. I keep my house 68-70F. I've kept ALL my prior vehicles with Auto climate at 70 or very close. This truck freezes me out in summer with the setting on 76 and now that it's getting colder outside it seems to want 76 or higher just to knock off the chill in the cabin. Screen setting needs to be 8-10F higher than you want the actual temperature in the cabin to be.

I'd honestly rather have basic knobs and controls. It would be simpler.

Personally I think not-AI @Ford Motor Company does need to address this. Not just in the frustration folks feel, but in the wild inconsistency between vehicles. That right there is the biggest indication something is amis, with users having wildly different experiences.
I'm going to bring this up with the team now. If there's anything I can share, I will.

I preheat my truck in the mornings, and I have the temp set to 18C when driving. But since the preheat gets it up and above 18C, the AC kicks in when I start it and blows ice cold air for several minutes.

For the most part, auto seems to be ok, there are times that I had to hunt for a temp in my 5 or so months of ownership, that being said it doesn't seem to have a humidity sensor that activates the A/C. IIRC, my windows fogged after work one morning and I manually activated A/C and it took care of the condensation. It would be nice to see these problems broken out into 2 groups, one with max tow and one without (mine) to see if there were any significant differences. Supposedly the heat pump serves double duty. Also does the problem exist in non heat pump models? Is it better or worse on non heat pump models? Just some variables to break out.
