I snapped two photos.....Trip #1, is since my first at home charge, two days after delivery. Trip #2, is since my last charge, and is actually 5 round trips to my morning coffee stop. Trip #2 is reset after each charge session.....I only do level 2, at home charging.

You are are the new champ. I updated the headline. I only get that kind of numbers on short trips. The following is from today:

This was the first part of the trip:

Ford F-150 Lightning Hypermile Challenge (high score: 3.4, life time avg 2.7) 1691446689845

this was when round trip was completed:

Ford F-150 Lightning Hypermile Challenge (high score: 3.4, life time avg 2.7) 1691446762501

it is under 20 miles so it is not legal. Your mileage is more than ligit.

and my trip was not that efficient:

Any notice of how pre-conditioning (and/or remote start while plugged in?) effects efficiency in Summer? Winter use of pre-conditioning is probably a bigger factor.

I have not done it but you probably could guestimate it if you have not done it by looking at your climate use and exterior temp energy use until cabin has reached the target temp.

I did it for a week, was 1% or less difference in the morning when I don't need to be blasting it. I imagine it would be more significant if you could be plugged in and precondition in the afternoon though. My work has 13 level 2 chargers and about 100 teslas on site. Even getting in by 6:30am they are all taken. The only time I get to charge is when I come in on a weekend. Next time I do, I'll give it a go.

Got my truck in January this year and I was getting away with preconditioning to medium heat and only running my heated seat on the way into work. Can't run without a/c in the Carolina's too damn hot/humid. I know I've seen people post that their air conditioning doesn't work that well, I on the other hand think it works amazingly I actually have to turn the temp up (auto fan) once it cools down.

Last month, I drove from Dale City, VA to downtown Washington DC and back. Each trip was approximately 32 to 33 miles (the return is slightly longer due to exit ramp configuration).

I 95 has some stop and go traffic, but otherwise, I drive an average of 55 to 57 mph. AC is set to 80. I do not remember the weather. The drive log say I got 2.8 miles per kWh going to DC and 3.0 miles per kWh on the return trip.

Incidentally, my lifetime average over 9,500 miles (one year) is 2.7 miles per kWh. The truck has gone from Dale City to Richmond a few times as well as from Dale City to Newport News and Roanoke, VA once. In the winter, I use the heated seats and steering wheel for comfort. I generally do not precondition.

Jim Farley (Ford CEO) feels our pain!!

With A/C on auto 1 and 70F both to and back home, also one quick stop at the grocery store, best I've done all summer at 2.7 indicated (55miles round trip). I didn't think to take a pic as it isn't my personal best. App said I put in 20.6kWh overnight to get back to 80%, which computes to 2.67. Today I, uh, drove a little less efficiently so I don't think I'll report that one :) I think I can get close to 3.0 later in the fall but I don't think I'll beat 3.2.

How do we determine lifetime average? My trip 2 rolled over after 10k and only shows 500ish miles now

If both your trip meters are reset, I am not sure how. I will dig in and if I find anything, I will post back.

Based on MME experience, I use Trip 2 for lifetime. So in the last 3 weeks & since new and ~ 1800 miles, I’m averaging 2.6 Mi/KWh in my daily 90 mile round trip commute. Most importantly .. I’m averaging 3.2+ miles per 1 % of battery. Thus right on the 320+ mile range estimate. I estimate that at 327 miles. I’m also steady at 95%-96% of battery to driving. Nearly 4 tons of fun..

Those are great numbers. What is your average speed for your commute? Must be less than 70mph?

The problem is that Trip 1 and Trip 2 don't go past 10k miles. I reset Trip 2 when I bought it, had around 600 miles. I'm over 11k miles now and when I looked at Trip 2 it said 500'ish miles. I recall a few other people have noted that Trip 2 seems to roll over (cap out) at 10k miles.
