iOS 27beta and CarPlay

when CarPlay connects all,I get is a black square on the sync screen. Tried rebooting the screen to no avail. Connected my wife’s iOS 26..5 iPhone it it works perfectly.
‘tried both Bluetooth and usb connections as well.
‘beta 2 comes out next week and I read an ota for sync is out too.
‘we’ll see.

Runs great for me. Maybe try forgetting the CarPlay and Bluetooth connection to your truck and try setting it up again. Also, dev beta 2 is out now, so maybe that’ll correct it.

One feature I would love to have is air playing videos when in park... I heard that was one of the features but car manufacturers have to turn that on (with lightning cancelled not sure if there is any hope for that now). Anyone using the beta's know if this works. Another thing I would love to have is pinch the zoom in Apple Maps.

The same screen is used in the Mach-e and expo so plenty of vehicles out there for them to “hopefully” update sync so we can use AirPlay but of course I’m not holding my breath. lol.
