J1772 to Tesla Adapter

Is it 'fake news' that Lightnings come with J1772 to Tesla adapters? I haven't found one with my truck yet.

It was only the first few off the assembly line that came with the adapter. I think it was mostly a marketing stunt.

FWIW, our July 9th delivery included a LENZ-branded adapter.

Wrong direction. The adapter was from the J1772 on the mobile connector to the Tesla car connector, not the other way around. It was a joke after Tesla no longer supplied the mobile connector with the car (and charged for it).

For MY'23, Ford turned around and did the same thing - oops.

Some of us do have Tesla EVSE, and use TeslaTap adapters to charge.
