Converted my Platinum order to a 2023 today, of course lost Atlas blue which I’m not happy about, and the on board scales. I was told that it will have the massage seats and they didn’t say anything about me having to get rid of max recline either. Platinum pricing went up $11,500 ish for Canada for 2023. Hrs sure my order is price protected but is going to verify.

When I was talking to a dealer on Monday he mentioned nobody was getting price protection in Canada. Who knows how much truth is in that, but there are a few reports of other '22 to '23 converted being told they're paying the higher price.

Yeah he’s supposed to double check this upcoming week and let me know. Then again he said they didn’t have to delete the massage seats but I just took another look at my order sheet and there is it is: multicontour seat removal $350 credit.

With the multicontour seat removal I really don’t see a reason to get a Platinum over a Lariat. I’ll probably move my order down to a Lariat at this point or most likely (and definitely if the order isn’t price protected) will cancel my order. It’s a cool truck but sure as hell isn’t worth $123k plus. Especially with the new luxury tax coming into effect sept 1.

Edit: He did say that regular F150 orders weren’t price protected and instead Ford was giving the customers $5k off, but he said he thought the Lightning was price protected.
