Just got strange notification that my Lightning just did a master reset and my remote access was terminated. Vehicle is parked and locked in my garage since 5:30 this afternoon.

Verify you can still access the vehicle in your FordPass account. If so you are all good, this has been known to happen on occasion when the servers get a bit funky

This being a false notification and nothing actually happened. Should have clarified that
No access in Ford Pass no vehicle activated. Just did this yesterday so guess I’ll try again. I got truck yesterday morning and needed Ford Customer Service assistance which required a Master Reset. There was an update in progress which had to stopped. If I can figure out what went wrong I’ll post results.

Ok so that makes some difference. You just got the truck and contacted support on help doing a reset and then later got a notification of a reset. Sounds like all is good except the message got stuck in the tube somewhere

Not really. The Master Reset was done and occurred with Ford CS on line. It cleared everything out and allowed me to sucessfully activate the truck. I drove it on several trips yesterday. Parked it in garage and had access until around 10:00 when I got that Master Reset message from Ford. Those events were 8 hours apart. I will try to re-activate the truck today. In addition Ford also notified me that all my connected services would be terminated in 14 days since I not longer had a truck. Standby for more information once I can go out and see what happens when I try to re-activate.

So the issue has been resolved after some amount of effort. I was able to reactivate without issue but then my Charge Pro was not connected. Tried to reconnect but Nada.
I finally gave up and removed it from Ford Pass. But still couldn’t reconnect. Deleted the Charge Pro app. Pulled the cover off and hit the reset button but it wouldn’t work. Tripped the breaker and waited 15 mins. Breaker on lights to green reset successfully. Down loaded the Charge Pro App. Found the Charge Pro signal logged in identified my network and time out time out time out.
Removed the Charge Pro App, reset the Charge Pro, same result.
Third time followed the same process. Only thing different this time was that Charge Pro after connecting to its wireless signal only showed 2 Wi-Fi signals and not 6 or 7. Both were mine one 2.4 the 5. Selected the 2.4 wireless and bang back on line and recognized in Ford app.
Still no clue as to why the Master Re-set.
At one point I took a break and charged my truck using the onboard control which I carefully set to 80% and came back to find truck at 100% and reading 323 miles. Pretty good for a Platinum.

You need to remove & reconfigure the charging location for home/garage with the 80% specification, then make sure the [Use preferred charge settings] is selected, not the [Charge when plugged in]
