So I don't know if I have an issue or not, but I've noticed that the mileage displayed in my truck does not match the mileage that the website provides when I log in. Normally I would just think that the website isn't updating correctly, but my trip 1 that I've had running since I purchased the truck (started about 200 miles in) would be correct if the website mileage is correct, but would be 5k miles off according to my truck. I've done some updates and additions through forscan, is it possible that something got messed up with that?

Yeah, I didn't do a great job of explaining and was actually misremembering something as well.

Basically, my odometer says I've put 13k miles on it. If I pull up the FordPass app, that matches.

Trip 1 says I've put 8700 miles on it. If I go to the vehicle health report on the Ford website, it says my mileage is 8925.

I'm assuming this is just a glitch on the Ford website, but I didn't know if anyone else has the same discrepancy.

The Vehicle Health report is way off on mine. Mileage is from Oct 2023 even though it says today's date.

First obvious question is - have you really put 13,000 miles on it?

Trip odometers cut off the leading digit at 10,000, so it should say 3,000. If it says 8,700, then it reset at some point. Not unheard of.

Vehicle health report for my truck is off by 420 miles. My Mach-E's says zero, so it is off by 18,900...

Ok, I probably just reset it at some point in time and don't remember it. Just wanted to check and make sure. I honestly don't know if I put 13k miles on the truck or not, I don't usually drive that much in a year, let alone 9 months, but we have been taking the truck everywhere where we used to always take my wife's car. Thanks!

We've observed and reported about this problem in older threads, tagged @Ford Motor Company , I've also submitted FORD.COM site concern reports and random survey feedbacks about the issue, crickets about them fixing the issue. The discrepancy is in the VHR {Vehicle Health Report} that you request manually or receive as scheduled email if requested previously.

As you say above, likely reset it at some point, but also be aware the trip meters roll over at 10,000 to zero.

Not saying this is the case, but just throwing it out there as a possible reason.
The data displayed in the FordPass app is originally returned in metric. A safe assumption is the data is stored in metric and converted based on location, country, preferences, etc. There is probably just a logic bug somewhere in the chain.

The math might not always make sense in every "discrepancy" but just saying that in case anyone was concerned or something.

Just as a follow up to everyone, I'm an idiot. I thought trip 1 was my original trip log but it wasn't. Trip 2 was, it had just rolled over so was only showing 3k miles. I'm dumb.

My Trip Odometer (which I also set on day one and never reset) reset itself during one of the service visits.

Suffering the same mileage discrepancy in the vehicle health report. Actual mileage: 2,246 miles. Reported in vehicle health report as of yesterday (2/5/24): 1,524 miles. It makes me worry if Ford can't identify and correct silly stuff like this, whether they are also getting the more important safety and vehicle longevity features wrong, too, (at least in software).
