Looks a little more teal than blue to me. However, back when the internet lost its mind over the color of a dress, I got it wrong. So my eye for color is not reliable.

I'm installing my 2nd set of Mudflaps now and I wanted to share the flair I added and, most importantly, a link for a paint pen that is a close match to Picton Blue (which is the blue on the Lightning Logo and Flag). I noticed others using a different Blue of this brand. I took a chance on the Light Blue one and wasn't disappointed, its a closer match.

(I tried my best with lighting. This is pretty close. In reality, it's slightly darker than it shows. It's a pretty close match)

The cap color is more of a navy blue, and luckily doesn't look anything like the actual color, which is more of a caribbean blue.

Yup. I am a color match master! Or, I found someone else that had used it, so I ordered the same thing. You decide...

We just redid mine, the color wears off. 2 years. Took my wife about 60 seconds a flap to do them again. Going to do it annually now.

OK guys. I'm looking for mud flaps for my new one. Decided to buy the Ford ones made specifically for for the Lightning, {not the F150 mud flaps the don't bolt/match up to the fender wells as they are different), the next time I drive by the the stealership. Usually none of those amazon links last very long but here is what I found.

The one above is Overseas Blue paint pen permanent acrylic markers 2 pack for 6.99 and also 5.59 for a limited time deal and look like a vibrant blue. Went online and ordered a 2 pack from Overseas store for 5.59. These pens are double tipped with a dot tip at one end and a brush tip at the other end. Hope to have the flaps some time next week and will try to post a pic if I can.

I think those broken links refer to the paint pens you use to fix paint chips on metal. One of them refers to it as Ford N6 Lightning Blue Metallic which is also called Atlas Blue. I noticed someone else also used Grabber Blue. The Duplicolor brand was about 20 bux and the Ford brand was about 25 bux and has the clear coat with it. But it appears it fades out after a year or two on the vinyl mud flaps. I may just opt for the cheap acrylic markers and then see how it goes and reapply as needed.

Might also find a few other places to add some interesting color highlights on some of the vinyl parts as well. If the Acrylic fades out also then nothing no problem.
