Driver-side connection is best for home charging convenience. The Lightning front position works out perfect for me. But the Tesla back driver corner would have been just as convenient in terms of plugging in when exiting the vehicle in my garage - I would have just wired my charger on that side of the garage, instead.Agree. Anybody who pulls into a residential garage at the end of the day and connects the charger appreciates the front fender placement too. I don't know that passenger side would be better, but front placement is definitely far better.
Passenger side seems like the wrong choice in almost all scenarios.
As does front center like the E-Transit.
