So Jim Farley stated you would never see an ad for an EV during the Super Bowl. I know the Cowboy's pre-season game tonight is far from the Super Bowl but I did see this during the broadcast :

The fine print indicates the $1750 is for XLT 4x2 and Lightning 4x2. Of course there is no Lightning 4x2 so curious how that works!

Yeah I know that; every football game in Texas is full of truck ads from corporate, regional, individual dealer, etc. My larger point is that Farley thought there would be no need to advertise electric vehicles, especially the Lightning with 200K reservations. Yet here we are in truck country with dealers advertising them, Ford Credit giving 3.9% and $1750 in incentives (probably also Ford).

So I thought it interesting that they are being advertised.

I had contemplated trading mine in on an exact twin just with an ER to take advantage of the cash back, but getting an offer of $48k kind of hurt

And now a Lightning only commercial. Once again during Cowboys game (the only live TV/commercials I watch).

I won't post the video but it's similar to this video posted from Ford Canada a few months back. Of course the closing incentive screen is different - shown here. Better act fast, offer ends tomorrow! Not showing the cash back like the previous ad - maybe because it's a national ad and incentives vary.

Can't act as all if they never ship out our trucks. Really annoying that I've been on hold for 2 months now since blend date, watching deals like this expire.
