Off Grid 'Emergency' Charging setup

I've got 5.6 kw of panels, ground mount with a sol-ark inverter, grid tied. I've already got a 'critical loads' panel in the house, but no batteries in the house. I'd Like some, and yes, Ecoflow has a modular system which would fit the bill.

What model of Sol-Ark inverter do you have? That is a great piece of equipment and should already be battery ready for you. You might have it easy with this.
Are you sure you aren't already set up to go off-grid as well?

side note that I used to live in Charlottesville for 4 years. Awesome area you are in.
