They are way too tied up with dealerships through legislation and contracts. Gonna take a hell of a lot to untangle that knot.

They have two coming in 2024. The Lincoln brand will probably be 100% EV in 10 years or less, just like Cadillac. But you're right, no EVs right now, which is why most don't want to opt in at huge expense at this time. I bet most of those that are committing are already doing so for Ford sales and this lets the Lincoln side of their dealership share in the overall expense.

I guess this shouldn't be too much of a surprise given that I don't know anyone under the age of 60 that owns a Lincoln. Not a total BEV, but we have a Corsair PHEV (My wife's car). Same platform as the Escape PHEV, but AWD.

A lot of Lincoln dealers are now combo dealerships Ford/Lincoln. We bought our Corsair at such a dealership.
