Pro transformed to XLT/Lariat Lightning - my DIY build

I did the Lariat take off seat update on XLT but had to have rear two/side Lariat arm rest modified to fit arm restless XLT.

Really pleased with result.

I did not remove, I used painters tape and plastic sheeting to cover the hood and tailgate.

It came out great, most people wouldn't notice it's not from the factory. I'm not sure how it would come out on metallic/pearl paint. But on mine it worked fine. These paint cans are really close to paint guns in quality. They don't splatter and cover evenly.

I believe there is. I taped over the black trim pieces 1st with blue painters tape. Taking your time here will save you from over spray and having to remove paint from the trim later. I removed the trim piece in the center of the bumper, it just clips in, pull to remove. I then taped the plastic sheets down. Covering the hood, grille, fenders, wheels and tail gate.

My goal was to transform my 23 pro into a budget XLT/Lariat. I was able to add some features my truck was missing thanks to trail blazers on this forum, glare free headlights, remote front windows down, bed lighting, passive keyless entry/lock, door keypad, front light bar, and adaptive cruise . All the paint matching on the handles, mirrors and bumpers was rattle can in my driveway. If anyone would like additional info let me know, I'll share some links and part numbers below. Down the road I want to add the upper glove box and a leather steering wheel.

How is the fit of the lariat seat shells on the pro seat frames themselves? Also, did you keep the pro charge port cover?

Seat covers fit the pro frames perfectly. I wouldn't be surprised if the pro, XLT, lariat seat frames are the same. Just different features, powered, cooled, speaker headrests, ect. And yes I kept the pro charge cover, throws people off.

They match great, the dash and door panels have back accents. Also the center console is black so it ties in nicely.

really? maybe my eyes are bad lol. I have a XLT and I think all that stuff on mine is dark gray

Thank you! I had to pay a local upholstery shop to patch it. Cost me 120 bucks. I think there are some sellers on eBay that sell it already patched but it's around 400 bucks for the set.
