I tried. There are a bunch of Rivian chargers in Freeport (they are on the map). I tried plugging the Lightning in when I was there in December, and got "Incompatible" errors both on the charger and on my screen. Maybe they hadn't opened the network yet.
On another note, does anyone know whether or when these chargers start to show up in Google Maps/Android Auto or ABRP?
You are not using the map filters properly. Freeport, ME is not open to non-Rivians. https://www.plugshare.com/location/632456

So, I have ABRP and Google Maps. Do I need the plugshare app to find Rivian chargers? BTW, I went to Freeport because I knew they had Tesla Superchargers. On that day, those were all full, and so I tried the RIvian.
I haven't had any tool send me to non-open Rivian chargers. I have had ABRP send me to OPEN Rivian chargers, but due to price I charged elsewhere.

When I plan any trip, I lookup every charging location on PlugShare and read the reviews. It would tell you the location is not open.

I haven't had Android Auto with GoogleMaps send me to any Rivian locations period, but I don't know that they were even on my route. Given the price, I'd only look for them if there were no other options.

A Rivian charger saved me during a recent 4200 mile round trip excursion. Pulled up to an EA station in Eastern Colorado, and about five minutes in the station just died. The entire bank of four stopped communicating. I'm assuming EA was having a larger issue, because I couldn't get customer support on the phone.

Off to my left was a newly installed set of chargers that I didn't recognize. Pulled up to them and it was Rivian. Tapped with Apple Pay and was good to go. Great speeds, but it was pricey. It was around 60¢, but I didn't care as long as it worked! Charged up for 20 minutes and was on my way.

Thanks, Rivian!
I was about to put in a snarky reply of "That will open up, like, 3 stations". But reading this, is why it matters!
