Rotary shifter for 2025

Apparently the 25s are locked out of this mod. Are there any 2025 owners out there that have done this mod. Is there a work around?

They are not. The rotary shifter I bought on eBay literally arrived 20 minutes ago and I plugged it into my 2025 Flash, and it worked immediately.

Thank you Dahveed. I saw your post and didn't realize it was a 25. Do you know which model vehicle that part number is from?

This one is from a 2021 Escape. Like I said in my other post, it’s a slightly older part. The same part number ending in -U is the most recent. I took a gamble on this one because it’s an OEM Ford part and was a third of the price of a new one from Ford.

I purchased a rotary shift for my 2025 Lariat. I had it installed and working for about a month before I reverted to the original (due to other issues, didn't want the dealer complaining when I took it in).

Dealer is not going to complain. You’re using oem ford parts and as long as there are no codes you are good. I’ve had mine at 2 different dealers in 2 different states and not only did they not complain they asked how I did it and really liked it. They both told me about the issues with the folding shifter and how this is an upgrade.

2025 Flash. I too did the mod using the recommended eBay shifter a few months back. Not a single issue since.

I purchased mine along with an injection molded trim piece off etsy. It has worked without any issues or error codes. 2025 Plat
