I dropped by my dealer a few weeks ago. My advisor looked it up and said no remedy was available yet.

Getting really tired of limiting charge to 80% and charging outside. Want the full capacity of my truck back. One that won’t burn my house down while sleeping.

I share the same frustration too. Ford's BEV customer support team was claiming they never heard of this recall until I called. Don't expect much support from Ford neither other than boiler plate comment of "please wait for remedy in Q2"

I am not sure if it makes sense for Ford to replace 2022 F-150 Lightnings which is worth 40-50k and spend $35k-40k in swapping batteries for all 950 of them. Assuming they are rolling the cost to the SK On since they are the supplier.

I wish we could get them in and inspected. Maybe get a clean bill of health. No repair needed. Then maybe a loaner till can be fixed.

Hmm..that's a good point.

I think since the truck arguably does "have a substantial defect that impairs its use, value, or safety" that it would fall under lemon-law in California (not sure about other states). And since no remedy exists, the "3 attempts to repair" doesn't apply.

The battery bits yes. Everything else no. Huge faith to have someone lift the body off and put everything back together without flaws ….

Because this thing is a rolling computer with a huge battery I added the Ford 10 year bumper to bumper for my "No Deletes" Platinum.

I too added the extended warranty, but it’s not as comprehensive as the original bumper to bumper.

I added extended warranty for the purpose of loaner car coverage it will be handy in the long term ownership
