Should I avoid a used ‘22?

Ford has the most recalls by far the last 4 years - and the highest warranty costs - so the dealers are advised by Ford corporate to push back on warranty expenses. That means the dealer will deny a warranty issue exists to get the owner to live with it.

A warranty is worth the added cost if you get a '22 - a new full-warranty '24-25 though may be better if you're sure you want a Ford.

It really seems to depend on the dealership! I've heard such glowing things from a lot of people and also horror stories. It's much like anything else. You have places where people really wanna help and places where they just don't. I always appreciate places that work to make customers happy. So much!

Seller not responding, I’ve got no time for nonsense. Maybe it sold, but ad still up. Well, plenty of options for a buyer with no timeline and I assume prices will trickle even lower as time goes by. Thanks for all the input!

I don't want to start a fight here, but I seriously doubt having 80amp charging at home is such a huge incentive that makes it worth more than the later models. It's not really *that* much faster and basically everyone can charge overnight enough for their daily commute on 40amp. No hate coming from me BTW, just saying I don't think it's going to add value.
As for OP, if it's a good deal, buy buy buy!

My ‘22 platinum has been the best vehicle I’ve ever purchased - and I’ve had some damn good F-150’s. If it was damaged in an accident and the insurance company totaled it, I’d try to buy a used ‘22.

That being said, you need to be acutely aware of range limitations and your driving requirements. Also charging at home is a must to maximize battery life and convenience.
