here is a list of the modules on a 24 Lightning

But The SOBDMB and C are the Motor controllers.
Sobdm A On Board Primary Charger
GFM3 7.2 Inverter
GFM2 Second On board charger for 22-23 trucks

My 24 Flash with 4k bricked with the same issue. SOBDM Module shorted out when I plugged in to charge at home. Also fried a fuse on the HVB. Truck was in the shop for 3+ weeks. Ford covered the repair.

Sobdm A is the on board Charger..

SOBDM B and C are the electric motor controllers(Maybe the wrong term but they are the motor invertor /controler?I dont know but they are related to the electric motors.).

GFM 3 is the second inverter for 9.6 pro power

GFM 2 would be the second on board charger that enables 80 amp charging

Thanks for clarifying. The manual kept calling B and C inverter controllers (ISC) and I wrongly assumed ProPower. But yes the motors I believe are AC and so there would need to be an inverter that converts the DC to drive them.

Thanks for everyones comments so far. The comments from the dealer are as follows: "Accessed the diagnostic port & performed a scan. U3000:49 control module failure - SOBDM. Performed PPT AJ, AJ1=no. Found the secondary on board control module internal module failure."

The rest of the comments talk about removing the frunk, battery, battery tray and so on as part of the replacement.

I don't see any references to an A, B or C related to the SOBDM to share here. Since I was not able to charge from a 120v or 240v evse, I believe they replaced SOBDM-A (referring to bmwhitetx post) and thus why I thought it should be covered under the 8 yr/ 100k warranty.

I'll message you and grab some details.

Following up here. I've been in contact with @SolarAccountant and working through next steps. Based on the information provided the part should have been covered under the EV warranty.
