Standard Range F150 Lightning Battery pack (for parts)

This is a Standard Range battery pack out of a Ford F150 Lighting.

This pack has about 144k mi on it, and has suffered from a cell failure in one of the 9 modules, but the other 8 are still in good shape. See pics for details.

The good modules could be repurposed for stationary energy storage, electric conversions, etc. Each module contains a total of 40 NMC pouch cells with a gross capacity rating of 11.95kWh (usable probably closer to 10.5-11kWh). The cells in each module are in a 10S 4P configuration for a nominal voltage of 37v (42v fully charged).

The complete pack is for sale for $1,500 OBO!

Local pickup at my shop (WattWorks) in Portland Oregon. I have a forklift onsite for loading onto your truck/trailer. Please note this pack is quite large (~ 8.5ft x 4.5ft) and heavy (~1800 lbs). I also have other "parts packs" (Tesla Model S, etc.) for sale!

Oh if ONLY I had the money - It'd be a great project for TE to have a backup battery on the house combined with the stuff that the wonderful battery emulator board Dala has been doing (DalasEVRepair) to let EV batteries function as home-storage units.

Also, good to see you here! TE would love to do something with you all at some point

Question: Do you happen to have any Fisker Ocean batteries? They used prismatic cells, which makes rearranging much easier.

Unfortunately Dala's project doesn't yet support the Lightning packs, but Mach-E is, so probably not a hug jump to get the Lightning working. Of course, it would have to have a suitably good module swapped in to be usable in that way... I have yet to find a source for individual modules, so it's likely best suited to be parted out and use the modules with an aftermarket BMS.

I'm actually going to be closing up my shop here soon and moving to NC, so I won't be around here much longer!

Yep, I'll have my new shop at the Out Of Spec Track, and will still be repairing customer cars - though I'll be spending a bit more time of Out of Spec projects.
