Does anyone have a problem with their sunroof leaking? I keep my truck in the garage, but I have been parked out during some Summer downpours and I have had a few drips come down through the microphone hole and upper concole. Both times I was parked facing down hill. I thought I would park uphill from now on.

The search you did before posting turned up no results because it's referred to as a moonroof not a sunroof. If you search 'moonroof' you will see many similar reports of leaking. Has been a consistent issue with F-150's (not just Lightnings). :)

Better answer, leaking glass roof sections has been a consistent issue with damn near all vehicle models that have them. One of the major reasons I refuse to buy any vehicle with a glass panel roof section

Sunroofs (and moon roofs) in cars, houses, etc have seals that fail. It’s not a Ford issue, it’s a sunroof issue. FWIW, coming up on 30k in my 23 lariat, and no leaks. If you’re still under warranty I’d get it in to the dealer.

same here i have just over 10000 miles in my 23 er lariat and run thru a touch less car wash at least 3 times a week and have never seen a drop of water on the inside of the cab ..... that being said i do get moisture and droplets forming in the fronk lights tho.

Main reason I went with a Flash instead of a Lariat. Wish they made a Lariat without the moonroof and back window, would be perfect.

I too run thru the car wash at least 3-4 times a week with my Lariat ER and have no water intrusion from the roof. I leave the shade open on purpose to see if water comes thru. But I have had water inside the frunk lights as above and dealer replaced those asap under warranty.

I had a small amount of water entering through the overhead console. I received a Customer Satisfaction Program notice (25B08: Trough assembly replacement and repair) and brought it in to my local dealership. I thought it was going to be replaced during that visit, but they just evaluated it. I also had water in the frunk lights. They didn't replace anything and didn't address the cause of water getting into the lights. They said I would be notified when the parts were available for both the trough and the lights.

The lightning moon roof is designed to accept leaks. If you have water inside then the drain system is the problem.

Lariat...

Thousands of F-150 owners have had leaks, yes. As stated, it's a drain issue.
