SYNC 4A for 2021 F150

I saw that the Mach E features the SYNC 4A so I'm assuming the 2021 F150 will get it too since it comes out before the Mach E (unless it won't be ready until the Mach-E). Anyone heard or read differently?

Do we know what SYNC 4A upgrades exactly over SYNC 4?

The 2021 F150s currently being produced show SYNC4 v1.0.15 from the VINs I've pulled.

Not sure if the 4A has “phone as a key”, but I did submit an idea to Ford to add this feature. I’m ready to go “keyfob-less”!

That’s an interesting idea. I’m on board with it.

The only possible drawback is not having the physical key with you that is hidden in the fob. I needed this key on this past Monday when my battery was completely dead. If that key hadn’t been with me I would not have been able to unlock my truck.
