Ran tests on the EVDANCE adapter’s unique design with the Lightning. Stay tuned—another adapter test releases Sunday.

I'll stick with my A2Z Typhoon Pro.

Question, how do you get Car Scanner to display on most of the screen (for example at 10 minutes)? I only get a few lines:

I agree the A2Z is my go to adapter for sure.
I’m use Apple CarPlay but if it’s like mine I think If you tap the grid icon on the lower left side right above where it says Android Auto Connected it should expand to full screen

Nope. That just expands the bar of available apps (the row above the volume knob).

I just connected my old android phone and you’re right you can’t expand the app screen to a full screen only the navigation. it looks like Google doesn’t allow for anything different unfortunately.

Thanks for confirming it as an Android issue.

Once you open an app, it goes full screen if you want to call it that, there's still the icons for climate control and what not but the entire screen above that does go full.

Did you do that in Android Auto? I could only get half the screen with the Google maps on top. CarPlay goes full screen no problem though

Yes with Android Auto open and on the nav screen, when I click an app on screen, it opens full replacing the nav map. To close it, you have to click the map icon again and AA nav comes back on full.

Not for me. CarScanner comes up only on the bottom half as my photo above shows. Yes, other apps that are built in (Radio, charging, PPOB, etc) does come up with the full screen.

I didn't try any other apps except for a game on my phone. Perhaps it was the games coding that made it go full screen, dunno.
