The tell if Lightning is “on” w/Ford Pass?

I started testing to see how the Lightning responds to be “on” (no shut down after 30 minutes). Am I missing something in Ford Pass as I can’t tell its status? I can walk out, look in the driver’s side window and see the dash lit up, hear the “system op” sounds. Ford Pass doesn’t tell me a thing.

I was powering a neighbors house recently. I left the truck connected in his driveway with the pro power on, the 30 minute shut-down off, turned off the lights, locked the truck, and came home with the fob. I could monitor the pro power use on ford pass. Are you attempting something like that?

Yes, you can monitor ProPower, but not just the truck.

Yes. Turned off 30 minute delay off “switch”.
Truck is “On”. FYI I can plug in my OBD Veepeak dongle but that’s Bluetooth with pretty short range.

My reason for doing this is charging the LVB (or fooling the deranged battery monitor to think it’s charging the LVB. It’s going into the dealership next week on the battery monitor recall (that’s back ordered weeks).

Before FordPass, there was MyFord. This ceased to operate by March 2022.

MyFord would show a vehicle as "Out and About" if it had been started. Not necessarily actually going anywhere, but definately told you it was started, and not just a remote start.

One of the great features of MyFord that those at Ford in their infinite wisdom felt should not be in FordPass.

The home assistant integration for fordpass has an on/off indicator. It's as up to date as you are willing to have it refresh the data.

I close the app completely and then reopen and get the right status.
