TSB 23-2050 vs SSM 51389

I took my truck in today to have the TSB 23-2050 performed and they did not update anything due to SSM 51389. When I search my VIN in the service info section I get the TSB but the SSM does not show up on the list. I’m trying to sort out if this SSM applies to the Lightning or not. If it applies, why is it not showing up in the list of service information? Also, if the dealers aren’t supposed to do this TSB then why is it still out there? Does Ford cancel TSBs that no longer apply or just leave them around? I tried to call Ford and ask about it but the person I talked to asked me what an SSM is so obviously I didn’t get very far.

Has anyone confirmed that SSM 51389 applies to the Lightning or is it for the ICE versions only?

SSM 51389 is a service notice that covers the same issue as the TSB. It says some F150/Bronco customers may experience inoperative remote start or lock through Fordpass. It is the same problem that is covered by the TSB. It doesn’t show up on the list of TSBs and SSMs under my VIN so I don’t think it applies to the Lightning but I can’t get any confirmation. Two phone calls and chat session with Ford didn’t make it any clearer.

So it looks like Ford has clarified that the TSB to fix the FordPass issue is not to be done. I guess we have to wait until June.

Will hopefully be sooner than June, there was just an issue found that is being fixed.

I wonder if this is more involved with the 12V charging issues similar to the other f150s. The ICE forums are littered with lot of power up software issues stemming from the 12v having too low a charge to accept the OTA download.
My Ford Pass has been out since Feb 14. I have not reset the 12v or fuse 32 since then.
