2025 Ford Lightning Flash Job 2 😭
I'm in the no holes group. They sell some 3m weather strip tape that's atomic strength, oems use it for door trim for years. Seen on vent shades also. Prep the surface right and it ain't going no where.

Can be removed with great effort.
You may want to tell Elon about it. 😆

Well, if the googly eyes fall off, no big deal. But if you are in a state with a mandatory front license plate then having the tape fail and losing the plate is a big deal.
Sorry, I wasn't clear. It's the 3M VHB. "That ain't goin no where!" LOL

Has anyone found a permanent solution for mounting the front plate. I had my front plate removed. I’m not going to say stolen because that bracket never felt “robust.” I’m not opposed to drilling. A tow hook mount is removable. Maybe tape is an option but for the same OEM bracket that rattles down the road?

Anything attached to the vehicle is removeable, just depends on the amount of effort required to remove it. Aside from chemically welding the plate to your bumper, the OEM mounting bracket with Torx screws might be your best option. Not every plate theif has Torx bits on them and might be just enough to leave your plate alone.

I have a front license plate frame which came with the car but the dealer did not install. It sits between the lower edge of the frunk lid and the bumper. It does not interfere with any workings of the truck. It is attached with two screws, and the plastic of the bumper has two indentations where you need to drill. It was easy for me to install myself, and if you wanted to remove it then the screw holes would only be visible with the frunk open, and only if you look very carefully.
