As has been posted before, in the dead of winter, if it's cold enough, the Mach-E and Lightning will pull power from the wall to warm the battery at times. Today I noticed that the Lightning had overnight, whereas the Mach-E had not, parked side by side.

Overnight, temps dropped to approximately 5F outside. I didn't look earlier, but right now with temps at 18F the garage ceiling measures 28F.

The Mach-E was driven yesterday, twice, completing a total of 23 miles around 12:40PM, and charging at 5.1kW until around 2:30. It did not pull any power last night.

The Lightning hasn't been driven since 12/5. It is plugged in, and at 11:02PM last night started to pull juice, using 1.22kW of power until 12:39AM, also from a 5.1kW charger . That's a cost of around 20 cents.

I assume the Mach-E's battery was warmer given the recent charge, so it didn't dip down enough to need warming.

My EVSEs are set to charge 24/7 on the weekend, and 7PM-11AM during the week. Therefore, if the vehicles are plugged in and the charger is active, there is no reason they cannot pull power, but they are prevented from pulling power M-F 11AM to 7PM.

Ran again on at 7 at night for 18 min. Used 1.26kWh, similar to the prior day, but completed much faster, 18 min vs. 97 min.

Note that it might have run sooner had my charger not prevented that happening during peak hours of 11AM to 7PM.
