I received 3.5.3 release about 2 hours ago. I am part of the Early Access - this could be due to that, but nothing major at this time.

I believe this is just getting us leveled with the ICE and maybe the Mach-E.

Resizing Car Play was a bigger deal on the 12" screen, could already resize slightly on the 15" screen.

UPDATED WITH INFO - I received the FordPass notification of the update being complete on 10/19 at 2:15 PM central.

I had been in and out of the truck from noon until about 1:30 at lunch and running errands.

The truck was home in the garage, unlocked and the parking brake was not set. It could/should have connected to Wifi, but don't know if it did or not.

I don't recall seeing the download icon, so I'm not sure when it downloaded, only the message from when it was complete. From the 3.5.2 update if I recall it seemed that one truly happened after a short drive and while I was away from the house and my wifi.

I think this is an old update. DoubleSum was released a while back, I could be wrong.

I just got pictures from the truck and it has more info - it does note these features may have been previously released, but this is an "Enhancement".

The version number is new - 3.5.3.

When did you get 3.52? I received that update today and wait-listed on my Lightning for EA.

Not MME. MME's 3.5.3 is different. For one thing it has no Pro Power Onboard.

I got 3.5.2 a long time back. I'm going to say August sometime. I'll have to search.

My truck got 3.1 I believe while it was in for service in early August. Then it missed the 3.2 and 3.3 or 3.4. I've lost track but I had no updates between 3.1 and 3.5.2, but I've had it for a couple of months.

I don't think I ever got the update regen that many talked about.

Oddly enough I received a survey from Ford today about OTA updates. Maybe they were tied together.

Correct it doesn't, but they have to be the same code base, another forum reports MME got 3.5.3 a couple of weeks back. We also know that the MME appeared as the icon for our truck for some a couple of releases back.

I bet the code gets deployed to all with certain parts just never being executed based on the vehicle identifier.

And for some early buyers of MME, FordPass showed Edge.

This usually means they goofed something in the last release and need to fix it without saying what it was.

That is not good if skipping updates means you don't have the option to get accumulated updates.

Maybe the regen was updated at the factory and then pushed out to all others? Like the whole PAAK thing….. here I am still waiting ….

That could have been, very good observation. It would be odd that I would get 3.1 and then not others, but who knows with Ford. I do believe with the MachE and the ICE trucks all now being on the same number or close this should be easier to track and stay up with.

Of course we know too that MachE running the 3.53 already has PAAK and some Lightnings built after a certain date. So we've while it may look unified by number, we know it truly isn't.

It would be nice to figure out how Ford pushes out OTA’s. If I recall Tesla went by region and sometimes trim, I can’t recall.

I agree , whoever has this update , if they could post time of day when it was installed , If the vehicle has just been on a charger, if it was connected to wifi when the prompt happened or if the vehicle was being driven . I’m wondering if there are any circumstances that might help push it other than by region or vin.

I feel like there must be additional mitigating factors as I received all of the updates as quickly as any other member except 3.4 which I didn’t receive and3.5.2 I received much later than many members on September 7. .
