2022 F150 Lightning (Lariat). 2009 Escape Hybrid.
Here is my latest Glamping setup, set up out in my pasture. Slumberjack Roadhouse Tarp, deluxe version with the netting. GoFast Camper v2 (2022). The netting rolls up easily if desired. But keeps it cooler when down. Only comes with 2 poles; they are being used at the center here, but getting 2 more telescoping poles, to lower the tarp down so mosquito netting touches the ground.

Nice. Getting my GFC Camper installed in September. What are you using as a fairing in front of the camper? Definitely worried about the aerodynamics of the camper and the range impact.

Colorado Fairings Company. Reverse Smile type, 12" wide, custom fairing, 55" long at the bottom, 59" at the top. Love it.

Ironically, it is a mounted on top of the Front Runner fairing I already had. The Colorado fairing is kind of light, and I didn't trust it to not flip up. The two together seem very solid, although I had to use a bolt and washers/nut to replace one of the Front Runner screws once.

This is my set up. I have taken my rooftop tent (Rough Country) on a 220 mile trip to NC. My tent when it is collapsed and covered sticks above the roofline of the truck. I paid close attention to my efficiency numbers. At 65-70mph interstate speed limits, Blue Cruise ON, three kayaks and associated gear, frunk fully loaded, the truck averaged 2.0mpkw with the last 50 miles at 1.9mpkw. Keep in mind that the last 50 miles is where the altitude started changing slightly uphill, a gradual 3° grade.
The entire 3 day weekend camping trip was almost 470 miles. Two stops for charging at a Duke Energy Park and Plug station on the Shell Recharge network, which by the way put to shame the EA chargers. I used the truck to power my camping needs for two nights. At the end, my calculations revealed close to 10% of battery capacity loss due to aerodynamics. It is a loss I can always and happily live with it. Planning more trips with my rooftop tent. I also carry with me a similar setup to cover the tailgate. Using the tailgate for cooking, shade and staying out of the rain. Enjoy your setup. You can live with a 10% loss.
Aerodynamics are a big thing on this truck.
Next trip, NC 105 Linville Gorge area. I have traveled the route and the truck has plenty of range. Have fun.
