For the people that have gotten the 2.4.x updates, what is your current Sync version?

2.4.3 and 2.4.4 are IPC and 2.4.5 is the APIM 22028

I’ve seen posted where Ford stated it will be 5-7 updates for it to be enabled. Sounds like you have 3 now so getting closer.

Has anyone had any luck with the dealing being able to update? I just dropped off mine for the insulation recall, and they said they would take a look and see if they could get me updated. I do not have high hopes, but maybe they will be able to update me past 1.7.1

I tried last week when I brought mine in for the recall - they were willing to try but were confused about it. They said they were pretty sure it was already on the newest version - it isn't. Then they said they'd have to keep it overnight and maybe could get it done. I decided to just take it home.

They need to change how this is done, so we can use a usb flash drive to get everyone on a consistent version, then switch to OTA. I have told Ford numerous times what poor planning they had for those that are stuck on OTA 1.7.1. No backup plan to keep updates rolling out.

Yep. My dealer just let me know that they cannot update it, but it is a known issue with an OTA fix targeted for late March or early April. Hopefully they will get it fixed before my June road trip.

Power-up 2.5.1 is rolling out now. This is a big update. Currently installing on my truck. Says it will take 145 minutes.
